Dr. William (Bill) Hunt has always been interested in providing the best dental care in Hampton Roads after being inspired to continue the Hunt legacy of quality care his grandfather and father achieved. A native of Poquoson, Virginia, Dr. Bill, a graduate of Poquoson High School, completed undergraduate studies at the Virginia Military Institute, and earned his degree as a Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry at The Medical University of South Carolina. After graduating from dental school, Dr. Bill served in the Army Dental Corps in Fort Bragg, North Carolina, and even while practicing in Poquoson, continued to serve his country as a dentist in the Army Active Reserves. He served three tours including one at Camp Liberty in Baghdad, Iraq before retiring as a colonel.

Dr. Bill is committed to his high moral character, his country, his community, and continuing to pursue knowledge in the cutting edge advancements of dentistry. In order to offer top-notch dental care, he continued post graduate studies at the Pankey Institute for Advanced Dental Education in Key Biscayne, Florida, the Dawson Center for the Advanced Dental Study in St. Petersburg, Florida, The Las Vegas Institute of Advanced Dental Studies, The Nash Institute for Dental Learning in Charlotte, North Carolina, and Spear Education. He is also devoted to his community, being a member of the Hampton Roads German Club, The Poquoson Masonic Lodge No. 49, and the Scottish Rite. He has served on numerous boards including Old Point National Trust, Virginia Air and Space Center, St. Andrew's Episcopal School, and many more.
