Hunt Dentistry was founded in 1924. Dr. John F. Hunt, Jr. (Frank) opened the practice in Hampton Virginia. One year later, when electricity was available, he moved the practice to his hometown in Poquoson, Virginia. In 1960 his son, Dr John F. Hunt, III joined the practice, and because of his love for dentistry and his devotion to his work, he continues to consult and visit with the office to this day.

Husband and wife team Drs. Dawn and Bill Hunt joined Bill’s father in the practice in 1989, and Dr Bill’s sister, Susan, joined the practice shortly after and cares for patients in the hygiene department. Hunt Smile Design is more than a family practice, it is a “family tradition” and the Drs. Hunt are honored to serve their patients and are devoted to providing their patients with the best care dentistry has to offer.
